I have spent most of my eleven year career educating kids from all socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, and intellectual abilities. From this global exploration I believe I have deepened my understanding of children in general and of myself as a teacher of children.

Over the years I have come to appreciate the relationship between school atmosphere or climate and student achievement. Thus, I have expanded my involvement, expanded my role in the schools I have taught. As you will see for yourself in subsequent pages, I have coached, run Student Council, run Link Crew, run NHS, and served on several committees with parents and with other faculty members. The success I have had with this has been phenominal, and although it is exhausting, I intend on continuing this level of involvement for years to come.
